VW eGolf Review (2015)

In 2015, I was very lucky to review the VW e-Golf, at the time there were only 5 in the UK. It was a fantastic car that was equally fun to drive.

The e-Golf looks exactly like a petrol or diesel Golf, with tell-tale aerodynamic wheels. The car handled faultlessly and the acceleration the impressive. The car had adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance which was useful in roadworks. I drove the car to a nearby town and was able to rapid charge which was very good too.

The car used “Park-Pilot’ which was great for taking the pain out of parking. This was especially useful for parking in tight spaces.

Performance was great with buckets of torque and the range was impressive for the time.

This really was a superb vehicle on every level, the handling was just amazing. It was incredibly easy to drive and once I had got the handle of ‘Park Pilot’, that too was amazing. A really great car, and a head turner too!.
